As part of our Green ethos at Cranmer Country Cottages we now confirm all bookings and payments received by email. This will be more convenient for you and greener for us!
We prefer to receive payments by debit card at the time of booking – minimising wasted paper and the time involved in sending & receiving cheques.

Your booking is confirmed at the time you make it – reducing postal delays and the possibility of you losing your preferred dates.
You can book online 24 hours a day from this site – you don’t even have to pick up the phone. However we are always happy to answer questions you may have about our properties within normal office hours Tel 01328 823135. Bookings - How & When
You will receive an email from us as soon as your card has been debited with either the full payment for your holiday - If your holiday is due to commence within 8 weeks, or a 35% deposit payment if you are booking ahead. The final balance payment will be due 8 weeks before you arrive for your holiday at Cranmer Country Cottages .

On the booking form Please request any essential extras listed ie for baby or for people using wheelchairs. This detail will ensure the cottage is properly prepared for your arrival. Z beds are provided by special arrangement only. All children with ages must be indicated on the booking form. Every child or infant must have an allocated bed or travel cot provision in the cottage. (We provide 1 cot per cottage only)
When you have made the final payment for your holiday you will receive an email acknowledgement from us.

Things you should know
We do not charge for debit card processing, however we do charge 1.5% charge for credit card transactions.
Your card details will remain on our system until after your stay. If there are any breakages costs or the loss of pool keys (£10.00 per key) will be debited from your card as stated in our Terms and Conditions of hire.
Cottages which are not left in clean and tidy condition will be subject to an additional housekeeping charge of £50.00 - £100.00 (larger properties) However you can book a check out clean in advance of your stay - take the stress out of packing cleaning and looking after little ones. Check out clean £30.00 in sleep 4 properties and £40.00 in sleep 6 properties.
All group bookings must be paid for by debit or credit card any damages will be charged.
We cannot acommodate pets. For dog owners there is a kennel within 20 minutes reach of Cranmer. Unfortunately we cannot accept dogs on site here in shared areas for health & safety reasons. http://

Swimming pool keys are issued on receipt of a signed copy of the pool rules – please read the terms and conditions of pool use.
The luxury indoor heated pool at Cranmer is ideal for swimming with babies and toddlers over 6 months. To prevent accidents in the pool we just ask that you use the fab neoprene happy nappy system supplied by splashabout. The nappies can be purchased online from http://www.splashabout.net.
Please ensure that all babies and toddlers are wearing the correct nappies on entry to the pool.
Arrival is between 4.00pm – 6.30pm. However if you are going to be late please let us know and we will make arrangements for the keys.
Parking for Owl Wagtail Tern & Swallow is on the opposite side of the road opposite the main entrance in courtyard 1.
Parking for Woodpecker (1 car) Garden house (1 car) is in courtyard 3 or in the North end car park. Coot & Avocet parking is in the North end car park. Offloading is permitted in courtyard 1 on a first come first served basis.

Please think of the environment before you print and only print the information you need. During your stay please put any suitable paper items in our Brown waste recycling.

Please download and carefully read our TERM OF SWIMMING POOL USE and then sign the form, 1 form per cottage. We need to recieve this form before we can give you a key for the swimming pool. We also ask that you enclose £10.00 deposit cheque for the pool key - refundable on departure when we receive the key back from you.
