Family friendly Luxury Self Catering Holiday Cottages

Our luxury family friendly holiday cottages at Cranmer in North Norfolk have been designed with comfort and relaxation in mind.

Cranmer Country Cottages offer a choice of well equipped 4 and 5 star luxury self catering Norfolk holiday accommodation. Cottage interiors are stylish and unfussy without a frill or chintz in sight. Living areas are spacious and well equipped; warm natural colours are mixed with neutral painted brick work and the original roof beams are accentuated with innovative low energy lighting. Furnishings are child friendly, combining contemporary styling with practical comfort. Large glazed doors to the rear garden terraces let in plenty of natural daylight and provide wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. This is an excellent place to sit and watch the sun go down under our big Norfolk skies.

For a true taste of country living both Swallow and Owl  have Rayburn cookers as well as auto ignite gas cookers. Although all of the cottages have their own efficient central heating systems, Wagtail and Swallow have additional eco-friendly wood burning stoves for cosy winter short breaks or those sometimes chilly early spring weekends.

We have done a lot of work in the cottages this winter, with a complete refurbishment of Tern bathroom to include a bath (it was previously a wetroom style), replaced furniture and soft furnishings, repainted, replaced inventory and bought new games for the cottages. Together with a new information folder we hope that guests enjoy the 'new improved' Cranmer Country Cottages.

For a sense of contemporary luxury with sustainable tourism credentials, underfloor heating, slate floors and stunning bathrooms see our luxury 5 star properties, Garden House, Avocet and Coot.

Fridge freezers, microwaves and dishwashers are available in all cottages along with DVDs, books, games, iPod dock and a comprehensive information folder in case guests run out of ideas for things to do.

We also provide a wireless broadband connection although the connection is currently not always great and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

The holiday cottages are family friendly and are ideal for holidays with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Baby friendly extras make holidaying with little ones a pleasure and takes the pressure out of packing. See Child Friendly holidays at Cranmer Country Cottages for more information.

Family groups can enjoy large dining areas and bedrooms within easy listening of sleeping babies. We provide high chairs and travel cots and can also provide a baby bath for the wet room style bathrooms.

Bicycles can be stored in the lockable bike store - just ask us for a key.

The swimming pool is just a quick nip across the courtyard from Swallow, Tern, Wagtail and Owl. It is further away from the new cottages - see site plan. Children must to be accompanied by an adult.
