We are totally baby friendly and can provide a list of baby extras. Travel cots, high chairs, bottle steamers, baby listeners and emergency essentials.
Babysitting service
We offer a baby sitting service subject to booking in advance and availability. The rate is £8.00 per hour – there will be an extra charge if the babysitter is required to look after more than 2 children or is needed past midnight or for bank holidays.
When a babysitter has been booked we ask you to complete an information form with details of any medication, set routines and details of how you may be contacted in an emergency.
Baby friendly extras
Bed guard, booster seat, baby listener, baby bath, steam steriliser; these are available on request and should be booked in advance of your stay we cannot guarantee to provide these items if they are not booked in advance of your stay.
Please note the new Eco Barns ve very beautiful solid travertine floors with rugs. Therefore toddlers need careful supervision. If booking Coot Avocet or Garden House guests accept any risks involved.
Baby Friendly Swimming at Cranmer
The luxury indoor heated swimming pool at Cranmer Country Cottages offers a tranquil pool to encourage early toddler swimming. We offer swimming for babies from 6 months. We do ask that you come properly prepared with the neoprene swimming nappies as recommended in most UK swim schools. The Happy Nappy System is availabe from splashabout.net. The water temperature is 29 degrees increasing to 30 degrees with solar gain.
